Coaching VS Therapy

Sometimes coaching is the

breakthrough.

Sometimes it’s the bridge.

As a certified coach, I’m here to help you get clear, take action, and create meaningful change. But I also want to be honest: if what’s keeping you stuck is rooted in unhealed wounds or emotional trauma, coaching may not be enough on its own.

And that’s okay.

The most self-aware, successful women I know don’t shy away from deeper support. They seek it out—and grow because of it.

What Coaching Is
(and Isn’t)

Coaching is ideal when you're ready to:

  • Set clear goals and make confident decisions
  • Improve your leadership, communication, or confidence
  • Get “unstuck” and move toward your next chapter
  • Work through current challenges with action and accountability

Coaching is not about treating mental health conditions, exploring childhood wounds, or processing deep trauma. It’s future-focused, not past-oriented.

What Therapy
Is For

Therapy helps you heal and integrate.

It may be a better fit if you’re:

  • Struggling with anxiety, grief, or emotional regulation
  • Feeling trapped in patterns that keep repeating
  • Wanting to explore past experiences in a deeper way
  • Healing from trauma, loss, or chronic stress

Therapists are licensed mental health professionals trained to diagnose and treat emotional and psychological conditions.

You Don’t Have to Choose One

The most empowered women I know have done both.

Coaching and therapy aren’t rivals—they’re complementary.

Many of my clients are also in therapy, and the combination can be powerful: coaching helps you move forward with clarity, while therapy helps you understand and heal what’s been holding you back.

If you're ever unsure what kind of support is right, I’m happy to point you in the right direction. Let’s connect.
